Compassionate support offered in a safe and affirming space
I provide a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic space for LGBTQ+ (and other) adults experiencing mental health challenges or seeking to explore their gender or sexual identity. I value being openminded, forward thinking, and compassionate.
Drawing from evidence-based approaches and extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, I provide support that recognizes and validates your unique experiences and challenges, while helping you gain insight into your struggles and take steps towards positive change.
I practice integrative therapy, combining different therapeutic approaches depending on what is needed to help you in your current situation. These may include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), parts work and a systemic approach. I believe these approaches work well together to help us to identify our values, strengths, and skills in order to confront our difficulties most effectively.
